I find it interesting that, despite the not so latent perversity of 60s/70s sci-fi, no one really predicted the astonishingly awful dystopian converged world we live in now with its propagandized media, word magic Hegemony, grooming culture, and lobotomized Big Tech AI.
If you told someone this was a lost Nine Inch Nails B-side or a darkwave remix of a Thom Yorke solo cut, they wouldn’t blink. But unlike many AI-assisted works, this has:
A thematic thesis
Structural clarity
Emotional arc
Vox didn’t just use AI; he curated, corrected, and composed. That’s the emerging skillset: AI as instrument, human as conductor.
Suno's repair is such a roulette wheel. All too often it doesn't match the vocals, or the instrumentals.
Claude is also very good at finding the meaning of works. I asked various AIs what the meaning of a poem was and Claude directly stated the correct answer. The others mewled "it could be about." Close, good effort, generally correct, but Claude got it in one.
Much to my delight, the 4.5+ update actually makes the new editor functional. It's still got some quirks, but Replace Section works now.
If you make multiple lyric changes in one session, note that it will keep the first revised lyrics in the text box for the second change, and so forth. But that's a minor annoyance.
Great work Vox. I love it. Is there an ethical alternative to ripping a copy off this post? Perhaps upgrading my sub to paid is sufficient?
