What you're doing with music is incredible. It Ain't Far is a rock anthem. My other favorites are IYHATM, Cybertoxic, Girls Love Guitars, and TNML. Looking forward to more of your songs that I'll be listening to every day.

So AI can now create awful butt rock and a video with desynced Temu people?

O brave new world, that has such creatures in it!

Always nice to hear from the Luddites. You have about 18 more months before your position is forgotten entirely.

You guys never, ever, learn.

AI music will never have the breath of soul/Groove

That sentient beings creating sound in time do

You are scientifically illiterate. Sound waves are sound waves. There is no sound a human can make that cannot be flawlessly replicated. Stop posturing in obvious ignorance.

Geeze, I loved the original, but this cover is MWA!

Props for the romance pivot, very artistic. I definitely got a different vibe from the audio. But I suppose that dead degenerates drifting down the river is a bit of an ask from both an AI and a mainstream audience.

I think you failed to understand the video. There is no romance. It's a visualization of the old Buddhist proverb about being patient and waiting for destiny to deal with your enemies. See: Siddhartha.

The woman waits patiently, through every season, until one day she sees the body of her enemy float down the river.

And then she smiles.

I did fail to understand the video.

That snaps it into focus, thank you.

She's her own enemy? Complex...

Vox Day's avatar

No, she's not. Different woman.

Given AIs known problems with hands, I wonder if they will ever be able to get the strum and fret right.

Songsterr has AI deciphering guitar tabs (single-note-precise fretting/plucking instructions) from song audio. Only a matter of time before someone in the video game puts those two features together.

Eventually. It's probably not a priority for anyone in the AI space, though.

That's a big improvement over what was previously possible.

I'll start fiddling with open-weight models, which tend to be about a half year behind Big Tech.
