And some people almost have like a magic sense for where to catch the fish in a very localised context, down to a few metres based on the flows and banks of a river. I kind of hope this could be made "mundane" with AI but its probably not possible to find the a data corpus to train it for this, and it may also ruin the sport of fishing.
And AI cooking would be great, I imagine a USB like device connected to the smartphone that gives the app a full sensorium. The AI could tell if the stew is a failure or not.

You may try the app "PlantNet plant identification". It helped me identify plants in my neighborhood based on pics of bark/leaf/flower/fruit.

Chins has had Baidu translate which has an "identify that plant or animal" function forever. 5 years at least.
In the pre-smartphone era Japan used to be the country that was living3-4 years in the future. Now it's China.
