I can verify just how frustrating minor changes can be in suno. There's no subtlety with the program; ask for a minor change and it will hallucinate a fresh new hell for you. Think of Pinhead from Hellraiser, only without the cold logic.
Anyone with a short clip — from a phone voice memo, DAW export, live recording, or another AI tool — can drop it in and immediately get Suno’s generative extensions or stylistic transformations.
This opens the door to musicians, podcasters, and hobbyists who have existing material and aren’t looking to start from scratch.
That's actually the reason I signed up for suno, since I have years of personal, quite awful, recordings I've made that suno has turned into true bangers.
The exciting update here is that you can edit it all within the program, which is huge.
It will be interesting to see if SUNO Studio eventually captures Audacity and OBS functionalities. That could make them even more attractive to steamers.

Suno has had that since version 3.0. Wth 3.0, you could upload one minute of audio. With 4.0, you could upload up to 8 minutes.
What's new is the ability to create new audio stems.
